(12/1) week 28: [souls of the dead] by jamie chirstopherson

one of the most insanely hard soundtracks in this game, and that's saying something. i'd highly recommend looking into christopherson's music resume btw, he's made SO much good music for so many familiar games!

(11/24) week 27: [planet rock] by m.o.v.e.

another song that's perfect for powerwalks. i'd know, been using this song as one for over a decade now.

(11/17) week 26: [out of touch] by hall & oates

insert that one lucky star video here (very catchy song btw)

(11/10) week 25: [magnet] by hatsune miku & megurine luka

this song invented romance.

(11/3) week 24: [inside] by vanilla

really enjoy the lyrics and music in this one. this song for some reason also brings me back to the days when i'd frequently visit nyc.

(10/27) week 23: [snake way] by maitro

another nice nostalgic-feeling song...

(10/20) week 22: [private hospital (ako remix)] by eyeliner

listening to this reminds me of when i went to a small hospital for my top surgery, which was a great memory in general. as a result, this lovely song makes me feel nostalgic.

(10/13) week 21: [vacation daze] by neon95

such a vibe...

(10/6) week 20: [into the void] by nine inch nails

been rewatching the final destination movies (again) and so this song's been playing on loop in my head as a result. nin also rules in general

(9/29) week 19: [welcome to the black parade] by my chemical romance

WHEN I WAS

A YOUNG BOY

MY FATHER

TOOK ME INTO THE CITY

TO SEE A MARCHING BAND

(9/22) week 18: [some type of way] by melonade (feat. j_ade_)

listening to this makes me feel nostalgic for a certain and pleasant time in my life years ago, back when i would frequently visit nyc. everything about this song feels so beautiful and nostalgic to me.

(9/15) week 17: [sunshine] by snowshoo

this song never fails to make me feel good and pumped up. it's perfect for my morning walks~

(9/8) week 16: [city] by architecture in tokyo (ft. MACROSS 82-99)

this song is perfect for walking downtown in a busy city during the evening or at night. though if you're out in the city at night, i'd recommend going with a friend!

(9/1) week 15: [smooth] by krystal davis

absolutely LOVE the the music AND vocals here. i wish krystal davis made more singles, because i know they'd also be masterpieces!

(8/25) week 14: [goodbye goodbye] by trmsc

a nice and catchy future funk remix of an already great city pop song by Anri! both songs are fantastic, so i'd recommend listening to both~

(8/18) week 13: [ventablack] by leon riskin

oh hey, it's my website's namesake. also one of the greatest tracks for a video game ever created. sister location is honestly a bit overhated in my opinion, and in this essay i will --

(8/11) week 12: [in the sea (3d blast remix)] by dan mason

IN THE SEA IN THE SEA
G U N T O M Y H E A D

(8/4) week 11: [alien alien] by nayutalieN

i got addicted to project diva again recently, and i think i've played this song more than any other so far in the game's massive library. as a result, it's been playing in my head non-stop this past week.

(7/28) week 10: [inspire] by ayumi hamasaki

i think we could all use some inspiration from ayu right about now. i know her general discography inspired high school me struggling with depression --

(7/21) week 9: [the future] by fujifire

not only is this song a vibe, but also one of the many inspirations for my own music! this song also gives me ratiorine vibes. like ratiorine having a night of steamy passion in penacony with aideen park right outside their hotel window vibes --

(7/14) week 8: [emotions] by desired

a very solid contender for top 3 greatest vaporwave song of all time. in fact, i'm pretty sure this song would be #1 if it wasn't for the true GOAT, skylar spence. still a 10/10 song, though.

(7/7) week 7: [oil ocean (remix)] by Funk Fiction

i've been listening to this banger remix of the classic sonic 2 level song for the past like week. it's so damn good, along with the other sonic remixes done by funk fiction! out of all the songs in the sonic & chill album though, their oil ocean remix in particular is especially satisfying to listen to~

(6/30) week 6: [take me] by riamuMAZE1981

probably the ideal song to listen to while walking around a big city during the night. also an ideal song to listen to just in general.

(6/23) week 5: [skylar spence] by saint pepsi

the undisputed goat of music. music peaked when saint pepsi dropped this absolute banger. this song is so good in fact he would later change his musician name to skylar spence.

(6/16) week 4: [fly with me] by yung bae

if my life was a generic 90's sitcom, this song would play in the background whenever i'm daydreaming about my ideal future living a peaceful and happy life by the ocean.

(6/9) week 3: [soda city funk] by RAMDARAM

banger song that is single-handedly responsible for me falling down the vaporwave rabbit hole. basically if it wasn't for this song then i probably wouldn't be so into vaporwave today.

(6/1) week 2: [heavenly star] by genki rockets

this song has SUCH a special place in my heart. genki rockets in general has a special place in my heart; i love every one of their songs but heavenly star sticks out from the rest due to it being the first song by them i listened to. also shout out to No More Heroes (goated game) for introducing me to Genki Rockets (and this song)

(5/26) week 1: [suisei groove] by mikazuki BIGWAVE

out of all of the bangers put out by mikazuki BIGWAVE, suisei groove is without a doubt my favorite! it never fails to put me in a good mood (or make my mood even better) every time i listen to it. the beat is sooo catchy!

i hope you like the music i share here on my page! i've been told that my music taste is weird, which has resulted in me keeping my music taste a secret for the longest time, which eventually lead to the creation of this webpage to get over that i guess trauma...i personally don't think it's that weird, but idk i'll let you go through this list and decide for youself!
